Peter Voss-Knude is an artist, painter and songwriter based in Copenhagen, Denmark and an honorary graduate of Goldsmiths University of Fine Arts, London.

As the first artist in the world, he has released three jazzy music records written in collaboration with an army.

In 2025 he created a permanent, public peace monument – Fredskrystallerne – a city space for secular spiritual contemplation with more than 4 tonnes of rose quartz.

His works are in the public collection at the Museum for Contemporary Art and have been shown extensively in prestigious institutions in Denmark and abroad. He is a multiple recipient of awards from the Danish Art Council and has been awarded the Meltzer Award for outstanding research. He is currently writing a new music record about straight love, painting colourful fables in oil and working on a major commission for Dansk Erhverv and the reconstruction of the new Børsen.
